Growthmarkt ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under applicable law including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Dutch KVKK provisions.

By using our platform, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our services.

Data We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal data:

  • Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), and account preferences when you register.
  • Audit data: your responses to the Growth Score diagnostic and the scores generated from those responses.
  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, session duration, and browser/device information.
  • Communications: messages you send us via contact forms or email.
  • Payment data: billing information processed securely by our payment provider. We do not store card details.

How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data to:

  • Provide, operate, and improve the Growthmarkt platform.
  • Personalise your Growth Score results and action plans.
  • Send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets).
  • Send product updates and newsletters, where you have opted in.
  • Respond to support and contact enquiries.
  • Fulfil legal obligations and prevent fraud.

We do not use your data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects without your explicit consent.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with trusted third-party service providers who process it on our behalf, including:

  • Firebase (Google): authentication and database hosting
  • Mailchimp: email marketing (with your consent)
  • Google Analytics: anonymised usage analytics
  • Netlify: website hosting

All processors are bound by data processing agreements and GDPR-compliant safeguards. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of Growthmarkt or its users.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. You may request deletion at any time. Audit data is retained for the duration of your subscription plus 12 months, unless you request earlier deletion.

Your Rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erase your data ("right to be forgotten").
  • Restrict processing in certain circumstances.
  • Data portability: receive your data in a machine-readable format.
  • Object to processing for direct marketing at any time.
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
